Meet Our Snuggly Owl Pinterest Party Winner Sara Falter

A big Thank you! to everyone who participated in our recent Snuggly Owl Pinterest Party! Our winner is Sara Falter: heres her Snuggly Owl story:

I was looking for a fun, quick, and easy sewing project to help make a dent in my overflowing fleece scrap pile. When I saw the BERNINA USA facebook post for the Snuggly Owl Pinterest Party, I thought the owl was really cute and knew that it would be a great project to start with. I started with the light green owl, using scraps from several different baby blankets. It was fun matching all the different types of fleece. Im not even sure how I managed to find coordinating fabrics, but it all worked out in the end. Since it went together so quickly, I decided I should make another one. As I was looking through my fleece scraps again, my husband was watching a Packers game. When I came across the Packers fleece, it was obvious that he needed an owl, too. Unfortunately, he now blames the owl for the Packers recent loss.

Even after making two cute Snuggly Owls, I still have a lot of fleece scraps leftover. So, I just might have to make a few more of these cute owls soon. Thanks for the inspiration; this was a really fun project! Sara
