Ecuadorian architectural firm Diez + Muller Arquitectos completed the design for a modern residence in Tumbaco, Ecuador. Casa 2V is located on a rectangular area with a gentle slope, offering views of the the valley of Tumbaco to the west and towards the neighboring hills to the south. The residence is divided into three main volumes containing the social, private and “visiting” areas.
The volumes are connected through original glazed bridges, flooded in natural light during the day. A double-height open plan living room acts as the core of the entire residence and offers extensive views. All the interiors display a highly modern design and a large degree of openness. A generously sized courtyard encircles the building, offering its inhabitants the possibility to relax doors. We invite you to have a look at the photos below and tell us your honest opinion regarding the design of this residence in Ecuador. Find its structure practical?
